Ideals

• a welcoming indie web community for all without cliques and silos
• yearning. dreaming new worlds and technologies and ways to reform the online. (copied from olu)
• chocolate chip cookies
• browsers without AI (slowing them down)
• faster Web experience
• socialism
• a free Palestine
• After Eights at Christmas
• a better understanding of JavaScript
• information that is important to the public to be free and accessible (ie. no paywalls)
• a universal basic wage that is more than any current liveable/minimum wage
• marginalised people to feel safe at work and have the freedom to go in whatever direction they want in their career without implicit or explicit barriers
• free global healthcare for all (including trans people, as part of proper rights, because they fucking matter)
• better understanding and language around mental health and neurodivergence
• better community-based distribution of media so creatives get more money and Big Tech gets less
• better social media moderation that doesn't pander to white supremacy
