In 2012, I answered the Proust Questionnaire and brought it over from my old blog. I’m taking it again.
What is your idea of perfect happiness? Never needing to use Twitter again. And to be left alone.
What is your greatest fear? White people.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? Unbridled modesty.
What is the trait you most deplore in others? Obsession with ego.
What is your greatest extravagance? Music. And love.
What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Back-patting about virtues.
What is the quality you most like in a man? Not being racist.
What is the quality you most like in a woman? Not being racist.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse? “Sorry.”
Which talent would you most like to have? The ability to play the piano.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Becoming a father.
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? Myself, as I’d miss my son.
Where would you most like to live? Lisbon.
What is your most treasured possession? My music collection.
What is your most marked characteristic? Quietness.
What do you most value in your friends? Actively listening and engaging with me.
